It’s time to register for the next PlatypusWatch. This is a super special watch because the survey results will be used in the Queensland Platycount 2016. We’re hoping the community will put in a huge effort to make sure every platypus counts.
PlatypusWatch brings science to the conservation of platypus for National Science Week. PlatypusWatch records where platypus live and anyone can get involved in the surveys. They are great for anyone who loves nature and science.
Register by emailing your preferred dates:
- 13 August: Currumbin
- 14 August: Coomera (with BBQ breakfast!)
- 20 August: Nerang
- 21 August: Mudgeeraba (with BBQ breakfast!)
Thanks to those already registered – there’s no need to re-register.
There will be an induction at 10am on Saturday 30 July if you have any family or friends that want to take part.
