We don’t want to be accused of being (Tasmanian) devils by not sharing that the Tasmanian National Science Week and Community STEM Grants are now open! Applications close 26 March.
Do you have a great idea for an engaging, innovative STEM program or initiative in Tasmania and need funding to put it into action? Or already running a great program and looking for funding to take it to the next level? Small program grants of up to $4000 are available, as well as large program grants between $4000 – $8000.
The objectives of this program are:
- Promote and encourage community interest, participation, and engagement in STEM
- Raise awareness of the contributions and achievements of Tasmanian scientists and innovators, including contributions to the improvement of everyday life
- Increase engagement and participation in groups historically under-represented in STEM*
Applicants will be assessed by a Grants Subcommittee of the Inspiring Australia – Tasmania Reference Group.
