Outback Exploratorium is a community organisation with the aim to inspire the minds of future generations.

Visitors can explore the discovery area with the various hands-on activities and creative spaces. Little scientists will enjoy science as they play, discover and learn in an environment specifically designed for 3-12 year olds.

STEAM lab hosts community events like astronomy nights, open days, school excursions, arty parties, birthday parties and adult workshops. Outback Exploratorium also runs during the school terms the ever-popular Science Squad and Curiosity Club for children school aged and younger who have a keen interest in everything science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM).

STEAM workshops are also available during the QLD school holidays for school aged children.

Outback Exploratorium has an adjoining gift shop that stocks a range of STEAM based toys and gifts as well as a range of locally made products.

Outback Exploratorium is open all year, 9am-5pm Tuesday-Friday and 9am-1pm Saturday (not public holidays).
