Grants are available to primary public schools in NSW to run an activity during National Science Week to encourage primary school children, teachers and their communities to engage with and celebrate science.
Grants are for activities or events aimed at children between K – Year 6 students and may involve parents or the general public.
Activity ideas include:
- science fair/expo
- hands-on workshops
- science challenge or competitions
- in-school video competition and presentation evening
Schools can apply for a $1000 seed grant or a school grant of $500 (or less).
