Tasmanian National Science Week Engagement Grants
The Tasmanian National Science Coordinating Committee is offering grants to fund a range of STEM engagement events and initiatives to be held in National Science Week 2022 in Tasmania.
Three types of grants are available:
- To support a public STEM engagement event/activity ($2500), for to an organisation, community group or individual to conduct a science engagement event/activity in Tasmania. There is $10,000 available with a maximum of $2,500 per grant.
- To support a program of STEM events/activities delivered outside of the Greater Hobart area ($5000). Available to a community group or local government organisation delivering engagement events/activities outside of Greater Hobart area. There is $15,000 available with a maximum of $5,000 per grant
- To support a public STEM engagement activity delivered at any large event or festival ($1,000). Grant for participating in STEM focused large engagement event. Available to an individual only for an eligible large event held in August 2022. Grants are not available for attendance at the Festival of Bright Ideas or any other event funded by the Australian Government through a Science Week Grant. A total of $5,000 is available with a maximum of $1,000 per grant

Tasmanian National Science Week Fellowship
The Tasmanian National Science Coordinating Committee is offering a Communications Fellowship for National Science Week 2022 in Tasmania. The Fellowship is available to a science communicator, communication student or individuals with an interest in communications and media.
The Fellowship is valued at $5,000.
